If the condition of sum of consecutive whole number is 40 then the numbers can be 6,7,8,9,10
i.e 6+7+8+9+10= 40
the question is what is the sum of there squares
the square of 6 + 6^2= 36
square of 7 is = 7^2 =49
square of 8 is = 8^2 =64
square of 9 is = 9^2 = 81
square of 10 is = 10^2 = 100
Now to find there sum 
36+49+64+81+100 = 330
