Let the numbers be a, b and c

According to question
a:b = 2:3
a/b = 2/3
a= 2b/3 ----------(1)

b:c = 5:8
c/b = 8/5
c= 8b/5 --------------(2)

Now,
a + b + c = 98
=> (2b/3) + b +(8b/5) = 98 (from equation 1 and 2)
=> (10b + 15b + 24b) / 15 = 98
=> 49b = 98 * 15
=> b = 2*15
=> b = 30

a= 20
b= 30
c= 48

let us assume the 1st no be 10x 2nd no be 15x
and 3rd no be 24x
