Let it be in an A.P

first term, a = 52

last term, l = 100

difference, d = 2

l = a + (n-1)d

==> 52 + 2n - 2 = 100

==> 2n + 50 = 100

==> 2n = 50

==> n = 25

Sum of these numbers:

==> n/2 [ a + l ]

==> 25/2 × (52 + 100)

==> 25/2 × 152

==> 25 × 76

==> 1900

Hence, 1900 is the answer.
