Explanation:

let the original number be = 10 x + y

the number obtained by reversing the digits of the first number is equals to 10 y + x

according to question

10 X + y + 10 y + x = 110

11 x + 11 y = 110

11 ( x + y ) = 110

X + y = 10 ________equation 1

also

10 x + y - (10 y + x) = 4

10 X + y - 10 y - x = 4

9 x - 9 y = 4

9( x - y ) = 4 __________equation 2

from equation 1

x = 10 - y put in equation 2

9 (10 - y - y) = 4

9(10-2y)= 4

90 - 18y = 4

18y= 86

y = 43/9

x = 10 - (43/9)
