Sum of area of two square is 400 cm2 . If difference of perimeter is 64 find the sides of two squares

x2+y2=400

x-y=64

x=64+y

(64+y)2+y2=400

4096+128y+2y2=400

2y2+128+3696=0

y2+64y+1848=0

kunikamewara: Only in one variable it is wrong answer it is the question of quadratic equation

pruthvi47: u can get ans from this also

pruthvi47: some times it can be solved by both quadratic as well as linear equation

kunikamewara: No we can't solve it in two variable
