Step-by-step explanation:

area of square is (side)²

so

(S)²+(s)²=244

perimeter of the square is 4(side)

so

4(S)-4(s)=8

S-s=2

S=2+s

(2+s)²+s²=244

4+s²+4s+s²-244=0

Solve the quadratic equation and we get value of s

Substitute s in any equation we get S

divide them we get ratio of diagnols as

diagnal =√2(side)

hope this helps
