The Coefficient of x² is 5 in the equation.

In the equation the coefficient of x² is 5 and the coefficient of x is 3 . Then the sum of the coefficient of x² is 5. But if we will add the coefficient of x and x² then we will get 8 as the Sum. But now we have to find only the Coefficient of x² , which is already given in the question.

\sf{\underline{Points\:to\: Remember}}

  • The coefficient of any variable is always a constant term .

  • The polynomial has two parts :-
  1. Variable
  2. Coefficient

  • The coefficient of x² is different from the coefficient of x .

  • The coefficient are decided on the basis of the variable into two parts ,those are Coordinate and absicca .

  • Absicca is for x-axis and Coordinate is for the y-axis .

  • The coordinates are in both conveniention i.e in positive and negative signs also . We can determine the different value of the polynomial with the different value of the (x,y)
