Let the two digit number be xy
So X + Y = 8
Expanding xy we get
xy=10x+y
On reversing
yx=10y+x
According to the question
10y+x=10x+y+18
On solving
y-x= 2
And y+x= 8
On solving
Y=5 and x = 3
So the original number is 35
So X + Y = 8
Expanding xy we get
xy=10x+y
On reversing
yx=10y+x
According to the question
10y+x=10x+y+18
On solving
y-x= 2
And y+x= 8
On solving
Y=5 and x = 3
So the original number is 35
