let father's age and son's age be x and y(in years)
ATQ,
(x + 2y = 70)2
and
2x + y = 95
Thus by Eliminating Method
2x + 4y = 140
2x + y = 95
(-). (-). (-)
=> 3y = 45
Thus y = 15 years
Now x + 2(15) = 70
=> x = 40 years
Thus the age of father is 40 years and age of son is 15 years.
