Given

we have given first term (a) = 10 , second term (a₂= 16 and n ( term) which is 25

To Find

we have to find sum of first 25 term

\sf\huge {\underline{\underline{{Solution}}}}

To find the sum of first 25 terms we will use sum formula :

Sum = n/2[ 2a +(n-1)d]

sum = 25/2 [ 2*10 +(25-1)d]

d is the common difference

d = a-a₂

d= 16-10= 6

sum = 25/2 [ 20+24*6]

sum = 25/2 * [20+144]

sum = 25/2* 164

sum = 25*82=2050

Hence,the sum of first 25th terms is 2050

More information=>

If there is last term given and have to find sum we will use :

  • sum = n/2(a+l)

where l is the last term

To find the nth term we have :

  • an= a+(n-1)d
