let lucky be x years old and suman be y years old

x+y = 35

x+y+10 = 35+10 (5 years later, both their ages will increase by 5)

   4:5   = 45

4a+5a = 45

      9a = 45

        a  = 45/9

        a = 5

therefore there ages after 5 years are

4a = x = 4*5 = 20

5a = y = 5*5 = 25

there current ages are x = 20-5 = 15; y = 25-5 = 20

The age difference between the two are 5 years
