Let the number be x.

$\implies{\sf{\dfrac{1}{5} x + 3\dfrac{7}{10} = 7}}$

$\implies{\sf{\dfrac{2x + 37}{10} = 7}}$

$\implies{\sf{2x + 37 = 7 \times 10}}$

$\implies{\sf{2x + 37 = 70}}$

$\implies{\sf{2x = 70 - 37}}$

$\implies{\sf{x = \dfrac{33}{2}}}$

$\implies{\sf{x = 16.5}}$

Verification :-

$\implies{\sf{(\dfrac{1}{5} \times 16.5 ) + \dfrac{37}{10} = 7}}$

$\implies{\sf{\dfrac{165}{50} + \dfrac{37}{10} = 7}}$

$\implies{\sf{\dfrac{33}{10} + \dfrac{37}{10} = 7}}$
