Answer:

a+b=34

1/2(ab)=120

a×b=240

We know (a+b)²=a²+b²+2a×b

hypotheses²=a²+b²

hyp²=34²-2×240

hyp=26

(a-b)²=a²+b²-2a×b

=676-2×240

=196

a-b=14

by solving a+b and a-b

We get a=24,b=10,hyp=26

a + b = 34

1/2(ab) = 120

a × b = 240

We know (a+b)² = a² + b² + 2a × b

hypotheses² = a² + b²

hyp² = 34² - 2 × 240

hyp=26

(a-b)²=a²+b²-2a×b

= 676 - 2 × 240

= 196

a-b=14

by solving a+b and a-b

We get a=24,b=10,hyp=26
