Parts are 200 & 800

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say Part are X   & 1000 - X

Ineterest = X * 6 * 1 /100  = 6X/100

Interest = (1000 - X) * 10 * 1/100  =  100 - 10X/100

1000 * 9.2 * 1 /100 = 92

6X/100 + 100 - 10X/100  = 92

=> 4X/100 = 8

=> X = 200

1000 - X = 800

The parts are 200 and 800 respectively.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let p be lent on 6%.

(1000 – p ) is lent on 10%.

Simple Interest = 9.2% of 1000 =  92 Rs

SI = P × R × T  / 100

92 = p × 6 / 100  + (1000 - p)  / 100 × 10

6p + 10000 - 10 p= 9200

- 4p = 9200 - 10000

- 4p = - 800

p = 800 / 4 = 200 (First part)

Second part = 800

Thus the parts are 200 and 800 respectively.
