hey dear

here is your answer

Solution

Saving ratios = 4:3

The saving are 4x, 3x respectively

It's given that A spend 80% and B spend 70% of his income

So their savings are

A savings is = 100 -80

< A savings = 20% >

B saving is = 100- 70

< B savings = 30% >

A savings = 4x

20% of A salary = 4x

20/100 * A salary = 4x

A salary = 20 /100 *4x

< A salary = 20x >

30% of B salary = 3x

30 /100 * B salary = 3x

B salary = 100 /30 * 3x

< B salary = 10x >

< Total salary of A + B >

20x + 10x = 2100

30x = 2100

x = 2100/30

x = 70

< hence the A salary is >

A salary = 70 * 20

A salary = 1400

hence your answer is 1400

hope it helps

thank you
