Answer:

A = 23 yrs , B = 10yrs

Step-by-step explanation:

A+B=33     , A = 33-B ----------------(i)

A = 3B-7 -----------------(ii)

From equations i and ii ,

33-B = 3B-7

40 = 4B

So, B = 10 yrs

A = 33-B = 33-10 = 23 yrs

Answer:

a=23 b=10

Step-by-step explanation:

let b age be x

33- x = 3x-7

33+7-x=3x

40-x=3x

40=3x+x

40=4x

40/4=x

10=x

b age is x =10

a age = 3x-7

= 3×10-7

= 30-7

=23
