Sum of the ages of A and B is 60 years. 3 years ago the ratio of their ages was 4:5 what will be the ratio of their ages after 3 years?

Heya!!!

Let the ages of A and B be x and y

According to the question

x + y = 60..... equation 1

x -3 / y -3 = 4 / 5 ...... equation 2

After solving 1 and 2 we get

x = 27 and y = 33

After 3 years ratio of their ages are x + 3 / y +3

30 / 36. = 15 / 18
