x + 15 = 2 (75 - x)

∴  x + 15 = 150 - 2x

∴  x + 2x = 150 - 15

∴  3x = 135

∴  x = 135/3  

∴ x = 45.

The father's present age is 45 years.

And the son's present age is 60 - 45 = 15 years
