Answer:

18m and 12m

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of first square =(x^)2

And ,

Area of second square =(X)^2

And,

Area of second square =(Y)^2

According to the question,

(X)^2 + (Y)^2=468m^2. denotes 1st equation

Perimeter of first square=4×x and

Perimeter of second square =4×y

x=6+y. denotes 3

According to the question

4x-4y=24. 2equation as

from equation ,2 we get ,

4x-4y=24

4(x-y)=24

X-Y=24 /4

X-6

Substituting for A in (2), are get

(a+6)^2+ a^2=468

a^2 +12a +36+a^2=468

a^2+ 6a+18=234

a^2+18a+2a-216=0

a(a+18)-12(a+18)=0

(a-12)(a+18)

a=12, -18
