Step-by-step explanation:

let the sides of sqaure be x and y respectively

case 1)

x^2-y^2=522

(x+y)(x-y)=522. (1)

case 2)

4x-4y=32

4(x-y)=32

(x-y) =8. (2)

putting the value of (x-y) in eq.(1) you will get:

(x+y)×8=544

(x+y)=68. (3)

solve eqs.(2) &(3)

2x=76

x=38m

from eq.(3)

y=30m
