let the number is xy means 10x+y

here x+y=14

interchanging the digits the new number is 10y +x

(10y+x)-(10x+y)=18

10y+x-10x-y=18

9y-9x=18

9(y-x)=18

y-x=18/9=2

y=2+x

again, x+y=14

x+2+x=14

2x=14-2=12

x=12/2=6

y=2+6=8

the two digit number is 68
