let the number the X and Y .

then X + Y = 11 ......(eq1)

according to the question ,

10 X + Y ={ 10 Y + x -9 }

10 X + Y = 10 X + Y - 9

10 x - x+ y -10y =-9

9 x - 9 Y =- 9

9(x-y) = -9

x-y = -9/9

x-y=-1......(eq2)

adding both the equation we gate,

x+y= 11

-(x-y) =-1

2y=12

y=12/2

y=6

putting the value of Y in equation 1.

x+y=11

x+6=11

x=11-6

x=5

hence xy is 56.
