NOW LET UNIT DIGIT = x

and tens digit = y

son number no. = 10y + x

atq

y+ x = 8

y= 8-x

now

10y + x -6 = 10x + y

9y - 9x = 6

3y-3x = 2

now putting value of 1

3( 8-x) -3x= 2

24-3x- 3x = 2

solve further ypur self

Answer:

Let the unit place be x

then tens place = 8-x

& original number = 10(8-x)+x

= 80 - 10x + x

After interchange of digit , the resulting two digit number will be 10x + 8 - x

according to the question,

10x + 8 - x = 80 - 10x + x

or, 10x - x + 10x - x = 80 - 8

or, 18x = 72

or, x = 72/18

x = 4

Hence the original number = 80 - 10x + x

= 80 - 10 × 4 + 4 (putting the value of x)

= 80 - 40 + 4

= 40 + 4

= 44.
