let the digits be x and y
x+y=12
xy-yx=36
we know that the difference is 36 so 36/9= 4
so the digits differ by 4
and x+(x+4 or y)= 12
x=4
y=8
so the no. is 48

haribol1234p9zix3: 10x+y-(x+y)=10x+y-x-y==9x=18=x=2 and y =1 . so the no. is 21
