Step-by-step explanation:

Let unit digit be x .

ten's digit be 9-x .

original number = 10(9- x)+x

=90-10x+x

=90-9x

Reverse number =10(x)+9-x

=10x+9-x

=9x-9

original number - 27 =reverse number

90- 9x - 27 = 9x -9

63 - 9x = 9x - 9

63 + 9 = 9x + 9x

72 = 18x

72/18 = x

4 = x

therefore, unit digit x = 4

ten's digit 9 - x = 9 - 4

= 5

therefore , the number is 54 .
