Let the 3consecutive terms of an AP = (a-d), a, (a+d)
(a-d) + a + (a+d) = 42
3a = 42
a = 42/3 = 14 ...............(1)
(a-d) (a+d) = 180 (given)
a² - d² = 180
14² - d² = 180
d² = 196 - 180 = 16
d = 4 --------- (2)
So the terms are
(14-4), 14, (14+4)
10, 14, 18
