  therefore, the 1 st no = x

            the second no = x+10

the sum of 2 nos. is 64 ( given )

the equation is x + (x+10) = 64

                         x + x + 10 = 64

                         2x + 10 = 64

                         2x = 64 - 10

                          2x = 54

                           x = 54/2

                           x =  27

1 st no = x = 27

2 nd no = x + 10 = 27 + 10 = 37
