  \large\sf \purple{ \underline{Let:- }}

 \implies \mathtt{No.  \: of  \: ₹ 10 \:  notes \:  as \:  'x' }

 \implies \mathtt{No.  \: of  \: ₹ 60 \:  notes \:  as \:  'y' }

 \large \sf \purple{ \underline{Given:-}}</p><p>

 \implies \mathtt{Total  \: sum=  ₹1000}

 \implies \mathtt{Number \:  of  \: notes= 60}

 \large \sf \purple {\underline{Solution:- }}</p><p>

 \implies \bf{∴x+y=60}

 \implies \bf{∴x=60-y \:  ━━ \: Eq. 1}

 \implies \bf{10x+50y=1000 \:  ━━ \:  Eq.2}

 \mathtt {Substituting  \: \:  Eq.1 \:  in  \: Eq.2 :- }

 \implies \bf{10(60-y) + 50y =1000</p><p>}

 \implies \bf{</p><p>600-10y+50y=1000}

 \implies \bf{40y=1000-600}

 \implies \bf{40y=400}

 \implies \bf{y=10}

 \mathtt{So  \: now  \: for \:  x:- }

 \implies \bf{x=60-y}

 \implies \bf{x = 60 - 10}

 \implies \bf{x=50}

Answer :-

We let ,

  • No. of Rupees 10 notes = x
  • No. of Rupees 60 notes = y

Given :-

Total sum ↠  Rupees 1000

Number of notes ↠ 60

SoLuTioN :-

  • x+y=60

  • x=60-y ━━ Eq. 1

⇒ {10x+50y=1000 ━━ Eq.2

Substituting Eq.1 in Eq.2 :

⇒ {10(60-y) + 50y =1000}

⇒ {600-10y+50y=1000}

⇒ {40y=1000-600}

⇒ {40y=400}

y = 10

So, now for x:-

{x=60-y}

x = 60 - 10

x = 50

No. of 10 Rupees notes:- 50

No. of 60 Rupees notes :- 10

Total :- 60 notes
