Their sum:

x+x+1+x+2=24

3x+3= 24

3x = 24-3

3x = 21

x =21/3

So, according to the question,

x + x + 1 + x + 3 = 24

3x + 3 = 24

3x = 24 - 3

3x = 21

2nd interger is x + 1 i.e, 7 + 1 = 8
