Answer:
According to AP:
Let the three numbers be: (x-y) , x , (x+y)
From question we came to know,
x-y+x+x+y = 18 ………………(i)
and
(x-y) x (x+y) = 192 ………… (ii)
Taking equation (i),
x-y+x+x+y = 18
3x = 18
x= 18/3
x = 6
Taking equation (ii),
(x-y) x (x+y) = 192
x (x² - y²) = 192
putting the value of x:
6 ( 6² - y² ) =192
6 ( 36 - y²) =192
216 - 6y² = 192
216 - 192 = 6y²
24 = 6y²
y² = 24/6
y² = 4
y = √4
y = 2
Finding the numbers:
(x-y): (6 - 2) = 4
x: 6
(x+y): (6 + 2) = 8
Required number: 4, 6, 8
