Let one of the number be 'x'

Other number will be x + 2

So,
x + x + 2 = 14
2x = 12
x = 6

And other number is 6 + 2 = 8

So the required numbers are 6 and 8.

Let the first number be x+2
And second number be x+ 4

According to question.

x+2+x+4 = 14

2x + 6 = 14

2x = 14-6

x = 8/2

x= 4

First number = x+2 = 6

Second number = x+4 = 8
