Answer:

given number is 36

Step-by-step explanation:

let the given number = 10x + y

x + y = 9 -------------(1)

10x + y + 27 = 10y + x

10x + y - 10y - x = - 27

9x - 9y = -27

divide by 9

x - y = -3 ------------(2)

on adding eq 1 and 2

x + y = 9

x - y = -3

2x = 6

x = 6/2

x = 3

put x in eq 1

x + y = 9

3 + y = 9

y = 9 - 3

y = 6

then given number is 10x + y

= 10 × 3 + 6

= 30 + 6

= 36

Answer:36

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the two digits of a two digit number be x and y.

Then the two digit number so formed will be (10x+y) .

By question, x+y=9......(1),and

(10y+x)=(10x+y)+27........(2).

Note that (10y+ x ) is the digit formed by interchanging digits.

From (2),

10y+x=10x+y+27

Or,9y-9x=27

Or,y-x=3.....(3)

Now solving (1) & (3) we get

2y=12. {Adding two equations}

Therefore y=6

Now,from (1),

x+y=9

Or,X+6=9

Therefore x=3

Hence the two digit no. is (10x+y)=10×3+6=36
