sum of two digit number is11.when we interchange the digits it is found that resulting number is less than original number by 9.what is the two digit number

x + y = 11 .... I)
10x + y = original no.
10x + y - 9 = 10y + x
10x -x -9 = 10y - y
9x - 9 = 9y
x -1 = y
x - y = 1 .... ii)
by eq I and ii,

x + y = 11
x - y = 1
-------------
2y = 10
y = 5
x - y = 1
x - 5 = 1
x = 6

so the no. is 10x + y = 10 (6) + 5 = 65. ans
