Given:

Sum of two integers is -445.One integer is 86

To Find :

The other integer.

\bold{Explanation:}

_____________________________________________

✸Integers are the numbers which are in positive form or in negative form and zero but remember they can't be a fraction.

✸It is denoted by 'Z'

____________________________________________

Come to the question:

=>First integer is 86(given)

=>Let the second integer be 'x'

Sum of first and second integer is -445

Note : Here ,the resultant is in negative form so the second number we will obtain must be a negative value.

According to the question:-

 =  > 86 + x =  - 445

✸Here ,86 is added with 'x' and it is in positive form when we shift towards left hand side it's sign gets changed from +ve to -ve.

 =  > x =  - 445 - 86

Concept

  • \bold{-\:-=\:+(but \:sign\: of \:-)}
  • \bold{+\:-=\:-}

\bold{\red{x =  - 531}}

\thereforeThe other integer is \bold{\red{ - 531}}

Now ,we will check by adding both integers:

 =  > 86 + ( - 531) =  - 445

 =  > 86 - 531

 =  - 445

\huge\bf\underline\purple{Solution}

Given Sum of Two integers is -445

One of integer is 86

So,Let other integer is x

So, x + 86 = -445

x = -445-86

x = -531

VERIFICATION

Other integer is -531

One integer is 86

Lets check Their sum

-531 + 86 = -445 Hence their sum is also -445

So, other integer is -531

Transposations:-

When + is in LHS after transfer it becomes - in RHS

When - is in LHS after transfer it becomes + in RHS

When × is in LHS after transfer it becomes ÷ in RHS

When ÷ is in RHS after Transpose it becomes × in RHS

MULTIPLICATION OF SIGNS:-

+ × - = -

+ × + = +

- × - = +

- × + = -

If we multiplied opposite signs We get again a opposite sign

If we multiplied both with same signs we get a positive
