Answer:

10, 5

Step-by-step explanation:

let two numbers be x and y

According to thee question,

x + y = 15 ----(1)

1/x +1/y = 3/10

=> x+y/xy = 3/10

from equation-(1)

15/xy = 3/10

=> 5/xy = 1/10

=> xy = 50

                     using identity: (a+b)^2 = (a - b)^2 + 4ab

(x+y)^2 = (x - y)^2 + 4xy

225 = (x - y)^2 + 4*50

=>225 = (x - y)^2 +200

=>225 - 200 = (x - y)^2

=>25 = (x - y)^2   (taking square root on both sides)

=>x-y = 5 ------(2)

adding equation-(1) and equation-(2)

we get,     2x = 20

               => x = 10

using x = 10 in equation-(1)

we get,

y = 15 - 10

=> y = 5

therefore numbers are 10 and 5
