then, x+y=35....(1)

also,x-y=13.....(2)

on adding (1) and(2)

2x=48

x=24

then y=35-24=11

the no. are 11 and 24

so the other number will be 35-x

According to the process,

x-(35-x)=13

x-35+x=13

x+x -35=13

2x-35=13

2x=13+35

2x=48

x=48/2

x=24

So one number is 24

and the other is (35-24)=11
