Let the two numbers be x and y respectively,

According to the question,

==> sum of the numbers is 4 more than the twice of difference of the two numbers

==> x + y = 2(x - y) + 4

==> x + y = 2x - 2y + 4

==> x - 3y = -4 ...(1)

Also,

==> One of the two numbers is three more than the other number

==> x = y + 3 { Assuming, x > y }

==> x - y = 3 ...(2)

Subtracting (2) from (1)

==> x - y - x + 3y = 3 - ( -4)

==> 2y = 7

==> y = 7/2

Putting y = 7/2 in (2)

==> x - y = 3

==> x = 3 + y

==> x = 3 + 7/2

==> x = 13/2

Hence, the required numbers are 7/2 and 13/2

Option A is correct.
