Let one of the no. be x

So, the other no. be 10+x

A.T.Q.

10 + x + x = 40 \\ = > 2x = 40 - 10 \\ = > 2x = 30 \\ = > x = \frac{30}{2} \\ = > x = 15

♦ 1st no. = x = 15

♦ 2nd no. = 10+x
= 10+15
= 25

Prove,

15 + 25 = 40
