x=y+25------(1)
and x+y=75------(2)
on putting the value of x in equation (2)
y+25+y=75
2y=50
y=25
and x=y+25
x=25+25=50

According to the question,
x+y=75
X=25+y

Substitute the value of x ,
25+y+y=75
2y=75-25
y=50/2
y=25

X=25+y
X=25+25
X=50

Therefore the two numbers are 50,25.
