x-y=5 -------eq.2
if we add both the equations we get,
x=10
so, y=5
Therefore, the larger no. is x=10

case I :- X+ Y = 15. -(1)
case II :- X-Y = 5. -(2)
now , from equation (1)&(2)
we get 2x = 20
then x = 10
