Thier sum :

➡ x + y = 35 ...... (i)

Difference :

➡ x - y = 13 ....... (ii)

Subtraction of both equation :

 \bf \: x + y = 35 \\ { \underline{  \bf{x - y = 13}}} \\  \implies \bf \: 2x = 22 \\  \bf \implies \: x = 11

Substituting the value of x in equation (i) :

➡ x + y = 35

➡ 11 + y = 35

➡ y = 35-11

➡ y = 24 ans.
