Your answer is ---
let the two numbers be x and y . and x > y
•°• according to question
x + y = 45 ......(1)
&
x = 2y .....(2)
from (1)
x + y = 45
=> 2y+y = 45 (from 2)
=> 3y = 45
=> y = 15
put this value in equation (1), we get
x + 15 = 45
=> x = 30
hence ,the two number is 30 and 15

Hola
Here is your answer
Given - Sum of two numbers - 45
Greater number twice the smaller one.
To find - The numbers
Calculation - Let the smaller number be x
and greater 2x
thus,
2x + x = 45
3x = 45
x = 45/3
x = 15
Thus the value of numbers
Greater number = 2x = 2(15) = 30
Smaller number = x = 15
Hope it helps
