Let the 1st number be x

Given, one number exceeds the another by 15 => x + 15

Given, their sum => 95

A/q,

x + x + 15 = 95

2x + 15 = 95

2x = 95 - 15

2x = 80

x = \dfrac{80}{2}

x = 40

1st number => x => 40

2nd number => x + 15 => 40 + 15 => 55

\therefore{} The numbers are 40 and 55

Let,

One number be x.

Another number is (x+15).

So,

x + (x + 15) = 95

x + x + 15 = 95

2x + 15 = 95

2x = 95 - 15

2x = 80

x = 80/2

x = 40

Therefore, one number x is \bf{40}. And another number is (x+15) = 40 + 15 = \bf{55}.
