Answer:

Lat,

one number=x

according to question,

the another become,15 + x

15 + x + x = 95

15 + 2x = 95

2x = 95 - 15

2x = 80

x=40

then required number numbers are,

15 + x = 15 + 40 = 55

x= 40

therefore, the numbers are 40 and 55

Let us assume the first number to be 'x'.

If our assumption is correct then according to the condition which is given in the  question we can assume the second number as 'x + 15'.

Given that the sum of these two numbers = 95

Framing a Linear Equation in one variable based on the condition given in the question we get:

= x + x + 15 = 95

Solving the Linear Equation in one variable:

=> 2x + 15 = 95

Taking 15 to the other side of the equation we get:

=> 2x = 95 - 15

=> 2 x = 80

Taking 2 to the other side of the equation we get:

=> x = 80 / 2

=> x = 40

Therefore, the value we obtained for 'x' is 40.

Therefore, the value of the first number is 40 as we assumed the first number as 'x'.

Calculating the value of the second number as per the condition we have assumed:

= x + 15

Putting value of 'x':

= 40 + 15

= 55

Therefore, the value of the second number which we assumed is 55.
