Answer:

Let the one number be x and the other number be y.

It is given that the sum of the numbers is 95, therefore, we have:

x+y=95....(1)

It is also given that one number exceeds the other by 3 which means:

x=y+3

⇒x−y=3....(2)

Now, we add equations 1 and 2 as follows:

x+y+x−y=95+3

⇒(x+x)+(y−y)=98

⇒2x=98

⇒x=

2

98

⇒x=49

Now, substitute the value of x in equation 2 to find the value of y as shown below:

x−y=3

⇒49−y=3

⇒y=49−3

⇒y=46

Therefore, the two numbers are x=49 and y=46 and the product of the numbers is:

x×y=49×46=2254.

Hence, the product of the numbers is 2254.

Answer:

let number be x

so according to question

one exceed s other by 3 ie x = x + 3

ie one number is x and other is x +3

so according to question

x + x + 3 = 95

2x + 3 = 95

2x = 95 - 3

2x = 92

x = 46

now one number is 46 and other is x +3 ie 46 + 3 = 49

so two numbers are 46 and 49

Now 2nd one

1st we need to know about what are integers

so integers are number which has numerator as 1

then consicutive means one after another

so if 1 inter is x then other will be x + 1 and x +2

now according to question

x + x + 1 + x + 2 = 24

3x + 3 = 24

3x = 24 - 3

3x = 21

x = 7

now integers are 7 also x +1 = 7 + 1 = 8 and x +2 = 7 + 2 = 9

so integers are 7 8 and 9
