Hey mate here is your answer: Let the other number be x,

Given that the sum of two numbers is

3/4

One of the number is 1/8,

According to question,

x + 1/8 = 3/4

x = 3/4 - 1/8

Take LCM of both and solve it :

x = 6/8 - 1/8 (After taking LCM of both)

x = 6-1/8

x = 5/8

Thus the value of x is 5/8.

Or the other number is 5/8.
