Sum of two numbers is divided by 13, the quotient is 4 & remainder is 8. If the difference of same two numbers is divided by 4. quotient & remainder is 2 . Find the numbers​

Dividend=(divisor× quotient)+remainder

Let the two no. be x and y

(x+y)=(13×4)+8=60

(x−y)=(4×3)+2=14

Solving above two equations we get,

x=37 and y=23

Hence two no. are 37 and 23.
