Let one no. be a

other no. be b

6.5 of a = 8.5 of b

a = 8.5b/6.5

8.5b/6.5 + b = 2490 (Given - a + b = 2490)

(8.5b + 6.5b)/6.5 = 2490

15b = 16185

b = 1079

a = 1411

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

6.5/100* 9= 8.5/100*b

65a=85a

13a=17b

A=17/13 b

Putting the value of (A) equation

17/13 b+b = 2490

30/13 b= 2490

b=2490*13/30

b=1074

 putting the value of B

a+1079= 2490

a= 2490-1079

a=1411
