Answer:

I don't agree with Nisha

Step-by-step explanation:

sum of zeros = -(-4)/2

= 2

manrajkaliramna8668: a)answer is right
manrajkaliramna8668: but also give b) part answer
mpreet196: Nisha does not know the formula of sum of zeros
manrajkaliramna8668: ok
manrajkaliramna8668: thank for tring

Question:sum of zeros of the polynomial
2 {x}^{2} - 4x + 5
is 4 Nisha at once said "it is false" a) do you agree with Nisha b) what value are depicted by Nisha

Answer:

We know that quadratic polynomial has two zeros, let us name them
 \alpha \: and \: \beta
according to the relation of zeros with the coefficient of polynomials that is

sum of zeros
 \alpha + \beta = \frac{( - coefficient \: of \: x)}{coefficient \: of \: {x}^{2} } \\ \\ \alpha + \beta = \frac{ - ( - 4)}{2} \\ \\ \alpha + \beta = 2 \\ \\
so by the way sum of zeros are 2.

so statement of Nisha is wrong .
b)she interpreter the things wrongly. maybe she don't know the formula of relation of zeros with the coefficient of the polynomial.
