Answer:

x+y=9

x=9-y

10y+x=10x+y+27

10y+9-y=10(9-y)+y+27

9y+9=90-10y+y+27

9y+9=117-9y

18y=108

y=6

Hence the original no. is 36

Step-by-step explanation:

_+_=9

let the first no.be x.

second will be 9-x.

ORIGINAL NO.- 10(x)+(9-x)

INTERCHANGED NO.- 10(9-x)+x=10(x)+(9-x)+27

now we'll solve the equation for interchanged no.-----

=10(9-x)+x

=90-10x+x

=90-9x(interchanged no.)

NOW WE'LL PUT THE SOLVED INTERCHANGED NO. IN THE LAST EQUATION-----

90 - 9x = 10(x) + (9-x) + 27

90 - 9x = 10x + 9 - x + 27

-9x - 10x + × = -90 + 27 + 9

-9× -9x = -90 +36

-18x = - 54

x = -54/-18

× = 3

9-x=9-3=6

original no.= 36

interchanged no.= 63
